I recently just got my Butler creek flip-open Scope cover, mainly because I wanted my scope to have the look, and protection it deserves. My scope is a 3x-9-44mm scope and I got the 13-14 for my eye piece or Ocular Lense. I really needed a slight size bigger like a 15-16 but it still fit not perfect, but it still is a air tight seal so it's perfect enough. To measure go across the lense face. Look up butler creek scope cover size chart for more info highly recommended for it's fast flip-up capabilities. A must get for protect and functionality.

Fits my vortex viper 4-12*40 great. It seems like it will do a fine job but the whole way the button and everything work just seems a bit hokey. However, I think its the best scope cover out there.

I leave the sun shade on my Burris Eliminator, and that adds quite a bit of length to the scope, which stretches out scope caps that come with the scope which are attached to each other with elastic cords. Aside from that Butler Creek flip up caps are much nicer. The issue is that the body of the scope tapers out to be wider quickly as you move forward from the eye piece. This scope cap stretches a bit and fits it perfectly however. Exactly what I needed for this scope.

After some time, do to the taper of the scope, the cover stretched out a bit and became loose enough that it would not stay on by itself. Some black duct tape fixed that. Still much better than the caps that came with the scope.
